Rediscover your voice
Learn how to express your needs, set boundaries, and advocate for yourself in a way that feels authentic and empowering. In therapy, we can work together to identify the underlying reasons why you may be struggling to express your needs. We can explore past experiences that have contributed to your feelings of invisibility, and develop strategies for overcoming these challenges. You'll learn how to communicate your thoughts and feelings effectively, set healthy boundaries, and advocate for yourself without feeling guilty or ashamed. By rediscovering your voice, you'll gain a newfound sense of confidence and empowerment.
You are worth being heard
AS A WOMAN WHO FEELS UNSEEN, YOU MAY HAVE A TENDENCY TO PRIORITIZE YOUR PARTNER’S NEEDS OVER YOUR OWN.
This can manifest in various ways, such as:
People-pleasing: You may constantly strive to make your partner happy, even if it means sacrificing your own desires or needs.
Avoiding conflict: You may be afraid to express your feelings or disagree with your partner, leading to resentment and a sense of being unheard.
Overgiving: You may find yourself constantly giving more than you're receiving, leading to feelings of exhaustion and unappreciated.
Difficulty saying "no": You may struggle to set boundaries or say "no" to your partner's requests, even when it's not in your best interest.
Lack of self-care: You may neglect your own needs and well-being in order to take care of your partner.
Therapy can help you break free from this pattern and learn to communicate your needs assertively. You'll also learn to set healthy boundaries and recognize when a relationship is no longer working for you. By prioritizing your own happiness and well-being, you can attract healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

No. There are a few reasons for this practice but most important is to protect your right to confidentiality. Once you have been given a diagnosis (which you must do in order to bill insurance), it will be a part of your record and can affect your future. It is your therapist’s preference to keep your sessions confidential and not attach a label to you that may show up later in life. You may ask for a Superbill at the end of each month that can be submitted to insurance for possible reimbursement. The Superbill will include a diagnosis, which we can discuss together and figure out if that is the best option for you.
-
The superbill reimbursement option is a way for you to utilize your out of network benefits through your insurance. You pay the full fee up front and at the end of each month, Trinity will provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company, who would then reimburse you their agreed upon amount. This option is not available for every insurance plan, so make sure you call your insurance provider to check what out of network benefits you have before the first session.
-
Sessions must be cancelled no less than 48 hours prior to the appointment time. Any cancellations within the 48 hour window will result in the client being charged for the full session rate. If a client cannot attend session due to illness, a teletherapy session will be offered.

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

Starting therapy for the first time can feel intimidating, but it’s a powerful step toward growth and healing. To make the most of it, come with an open mind and be patient with yourself—change doesn’t happen overnight. It’s okay to not know exactly what you want to work on right away; your therapist will help guide you through the process. Be honest about your thoughts and feelings, even when it’s uncomfortable—this is a safe space where vulnerability leads to progress. Lastly, remember that therapy is a collaborative journey, so feel free to ask questions and give feedback to ensure it’s a space that works for you.
